These inspirational meetings support Activity Co-ordinators, and they focus on activity provision across ALL care services. These forums are open to all of our colleagues and peers, in order to embed a truly whole team approach to the work we do. So, if there is a manager, member of the care team, resident or relative (of a resident, of course!) who you think would benefit from attending – please invite them along!!
Partners in Care have been facilitating this network which supports managers in the earliest stage of their journey into management, and ensures they have a good foundation to build upon at this exciting, but often daunting, time in their career.
The group is chaired by an experienced Registered Manager, with support from the Partners in Care team.
The ‘Hubs provide support to Managers across Dorset and regular attendees say that they are an extremely useful way of keeping up to date. This saves valuable time in researching the constant changes, keeps them informed about training initiatives, opportunities and funding. The ‘Hubs have evolved in to a Registered Managers Network chaired by a local Registered Manager, and we are also usually joined by the Locality Manager from Skills for Care to hear about their work.
