The ‘Hubs provide support to Managers across Dorset and regular attendees say that they are an extremely useful way of keeping up to date. This saves valuable time in researching the constant changes, keeps them informed about training initiatives, opportunities and funding. The ‘Hubs have evolved in to a Registered Managers Network chaired by a local Registered Manager, and we are also usually joined by the Locality Manager from Skills for Care to hear about their work and how you can become involved in this.
As discussed, during this next round we will be for the first time extending the meetings to include input from colleagues within Dorset CCG ‘s Quality Assurance Team to include support around infection prevention and control, and related resources / support to assist with clinical matters. Each meeting will incorporate a working lunch and networking time so that you can make the most of the shared the knowledge within the room, and discuss good practice with others.
