Learning Hubs/Registered Managers Network

The ‘Hubs provide support to Managers across Dorset and regular attendees say that they are an extremely useful way of keeping up to date. This saves valuable time in researching the constant changes, keeps them informed about training initiatives, opportunities and funding. The ‘Hubs have evolved in to a Registered Managers Network chaired by a local Registered Manager. During this next round of meetings we are pleased to be joined by the local CQC Pharmacy Team who will be talking about best practice in terms of medicines management. They will specifically cover how CQC use the NICE guidance NG67 – managing medicines for people receiving social care in the community. In order to make the best use of their time, where possible it would be useful if questions and queries are sent in advance via picare@bpc.ac.uk In addition we will also be joined by Healthwatch Dorset who wish to explore local experiences of accessing primary care services for the people who receive care and support. As part of the winter round of Learning Hubs you are warmly invited to attend.
