‘Lead to Succeed’ Leadership Programme

In 2016, Skills for Care reviewed and updated the Lead to Succeed programme to reflect the changes within the sector and to align with our wider learning and development offer. The revised Lead to Succeed programme is designed around the Manager Induction Standards and the specification for the Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management in Adult Care (Skills for Care, 2017) and will enable delegates to meet some of the learning outcomes of the MIS and start to build an evidence portfolio to develop further for their Level 4 Certificate. Lead to Succeed can enable both aspiring and existing managers to boost their capacity to lead and manage effectively, and ensure the smooth running of adult social care services. Venue: The Chestnut Room, Wessex House, Upper Market Street, Eastleigh, SO50 9FD Dates: April 25th, May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23th (5 days) Cost: £550 per person (no VAT, £350 funding available) Multiple booking discounted fee for 3 or 4 places £450 per person (no VAT) Multiple booking discounted fee for 5 or more places £350 per person (no VAT) The programme is designed to be delivered over 5 full-day workshops.     Training Matters 6 June 2017 Executive Business Centre, Bournemouth BH8 This case review concerns the tragic murder of a young man who was stabbed by people known to him and living in the same block of flats. Although there were multiple interventions across a range of agencies, this death was not prevented. This case concerns mental health, drug and alcohol use, violent behaviour, along with housing/neighbourhood issues. Identical sessions will run in the morning and the afternoon.
